Cookie Notice
Last updated October 2026
This Cookie Notice explains the cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies we use on furnus.io and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What these technologies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use your browser’s session storage for first-touch attribution on Assessment and Request a Proposal, and we may use tracking pixels for analytics and advertising. We group them into three categories.
Categories we use
| Category | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | The cookie that stores Accept all or Deny all | Remember the choice on this browser. This is the only cookie set before you accept. |
| Analytics | Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, and first-party cookies that remember campaign parameters, landing path, referrer, and marketplace for 90 days, when you accept | Help us understand how visitors use the site and how Assessment and proposal requests move through their steps, without treating a closed tab as an abandoned session. These stay off until you choose Accept all. |
| Advertising | Meta (Facebook) Pixel (e.g. _fbp, _fbc), when configured | Measure and optimize advertising and build audiences, including cross-context behavioral advertising. |
Saved proposal requests are stored on our server against a hashed token. The raw token is sent to you by email and appears in the resume link; it is not stored as a marketing cookie.
Third-party technologies
Google Tag Manager does not load until you choose Accept all. Until then, Google Analytics 4, the Meta Pixel, Google Ads, and Microsoft Clarity do not run. Deny all, or a Global Privacy Control signal, keeps them off. Tag providers — Google, Meta, and Microsoft— handle data under their own policies. We may also load fonts from Adobe Fonts.
How to control cookies
- Deny all: use the banner, or Your Privacy Choices, to keep Google Analytics, Clarity, and the Meta Pixel off for this browser. We also treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as Deny all.
- Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear storage. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Notice as our technologies change. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
